MEDIA-FRIENDLY MSDEAF CONFERENCE PROMOTES THE WORLD DEAF FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP.

Malaysia was chosen to host the 4th World Deaf Football Championship which will take place next September-October.
This football tournament will be organized by MSDeaf which has received approval from the world body of sports for the Deaf, the International Committee of Sports for the Deaf (ICSD) and supported by the Deaf International Football Association (DIFA) is the biggest tournament in the ICSD calendar this year organized by MSDeaf.
This tournament will involve 24 men’s football teams and 10 women’s football teams which will involve teams from 4 continents namely the Asian continent, the European continent, the African continent and the American continent.
The president of MSDeaf in a press conference sponsored by Sunway Hotel & Resort appealed to the sponsors of corporate companies to come forward hand in hand with MSDeaf to make this tournament a success which still needs sponsorship amounting to another RM 3 million because it is the first football tournament to be held on the Asian continent .
It is estimated that a total of 1,000 Deaf footballers and officials will be present at this tournament and will be able to promote Malaysia to foreign countries later.
