Football for the deaf in the world…
In the world of geopolitics, especially during the period of political and seismic global transformation that the football world is currently experiencing, making any predictions is a thankless task. However, from understanding this, they do not become less. And interest in them does not fade away.
The 4th Deaf Football Championships will feature 24 men’s and 10 women’s teams under the auspices of the ICSD and the International Deaf Football Association (DIFA) are important.
3 past championships tournaments have already taken place.
The 4th World Deaf Football Championships will be held from September 23 to October 07 this year in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The deadline for discussion with the ICSD is approaching. There is an objective level of development of football for the deaf in the world. You don’t even need to add politics to it. The International Deaf Football Federation (DIFA), together with the ICSD, have decided on a new format for the championships and approved it. Earlier in DIFA, the option of distributing all participants into 6 groups of four teams was discussed. The first and second place teams will go directly to the playoffs, as will the top eight third place teams.
In addition, this 4th World Deaf Football Championships will be the longest in history: it will last 16 days, which will include 113 matches. … This format included 80 men’s matches and 33 women’s matches.
The important point is that the championship plans to get official status from each deaf sports federation, so the ICSD members of each deaf sports federation must enter the recruited national teams by sending a letter to the Malaysian Sports Federation (OC) organization confirming participation in the 4th World Deaf Football Championships in Malaysia.
