In early 2024, it was announced that the Argentine Deaf Sports Federation had won the right to host the club championship, as it was the only bid submitted to DIFA.
The 2026 DIFA World Deaf Futsal Club Championships will be the first ever DIFA Futsal Championship, an international futsal championship for men’s and women’s national club teams held every two years. The tournament will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from 21 to 28 February 2026.
This is the first DIFA tournament ever hosted by the Argentine Deaf Sports Federation.
On 20 May, the Argentine Deaf Sports Federation and DIFA unveiled the logo. The logo features an Argentine football player and a ball, which is often used on the traditional flag of Argentina as the club championship trophy.
More than 24 teams will participate in the final tournament.
