The official languages of DIFA are English and French. The minutes are kept in English, the same applies to official correspondence and the preparation of various announcements. Any deaf association or sports federation that organizes football life in its own country can become a member of DIFA, provided that this country is independent and recognized by the world community. At the same time, DIFA recognizes only one association in each country.
