Official Announcement – 5th World Deaf Football Championships 2027
The 5th World Deaf Football Championships will take place in Parramatta and Sydney, Australia, from 19 November to 4 December 2027! 🏆
Deaf Football Australia (DFA), recognised by Deaf Sports Australia (DSA) and operating under the MoU signed between ICSD and DIFA, has been officially appointed by the Australian Department of Sport as the host and organiser of this major global event.
A total of 24 men’s teams and 10–12 women’s teams will compete, with Australia’s national team automatically qualified as the host nation. 🇦🇺
DIFA President Iakov Frenkel stated:
“This agreement marks a new stage of cooperation between DIFA, DFA, and ICSD. Together, we share common values: transparency, integrity, respect, and inclusion. The 2027 Championships will be a milestone for deaf football worldwide.”
