Australia’s Bid – 2027 World Deaf Football Championships DIFA is awaiting official confirmation from ICSD regarding Australia’s bid to host the 2027 World Deaf Football Championships, following the signed MoU and full application submitted via the ICSD platform.In February 2025, an inspection took place in Parramatta with Iakov Frenkel (DIFA President), Brice ALLAIN (Football Director – DIFA & ICSD), and Brian Seymour (Secretary, Deaf Football Australia). DIFA is pleased to share the video from this visit.A quick approval will help countries plan their budgets in advance. Once confirmed, registration will open via OMS, based on world rankings.
Planned: 24 men’s teams and 16 women’s teams, depending on participation.
