The Bahrain Olympic Committee met with the President of the International Deaf Football Association (DIFA).
The main goals of the cooperation are to ensure respect and protection of the rights of athletes, coaches, and other football professionals, as well as to promote the development of deaf football and high-performance sport.
The parties agreed to collaborate in organizing competitions and training events, as well as to develop mutually beneficial cooperation in scientific and technical support for the sports movement. Furthermore, information exchange and consultation on football and futsal matters between coaches, medical and sports personnel, teams, and athletes are envisaged.
Iakov Frenkel, in turn, noted that DIFA is ready to support their Bahraini colleagues in the field of deaf football in training coaches, referees, and other specialists.
