I would like to emphasize that hosting a championship of this level is not just an honor. DIFA, together with the Organizing Committee, goes far beyond a purely sporting event. We are talking about the intensive development of football among the deaf, transport and hotel infrastructure, the creation of new volunteers and jobs, the establishment of international and just human contacts. I am sure that tens of thousands of people from all over the world will come to us and be able to see with their own eyes the modern, dynamically developing Malaysia.
