All winners and finalists of the World Deaf Futsal Club Championships have been announced.
The World Deaf Futsal Club Championships final, held in Argentina, was attended by approximately 1,500 spectators.
How did the final go?
The decisive final match, held at a sports complex in the capital of Argentina, Buenos Aires, pitted the women’s clubs ASSJP of Brazil and ASO, Argentina against each other. The club ASSJP of Brazil won the match 4-1, thus becoming the futsal champion. Club ASO, Argentina, having successfully advanced to the final, finished second.
Club ASLP, Argentina finished third.
In the final, the men’s team CDS Huelva (Spain) faced DSC Dolphins (Israel), and the match was as expected: tense and emotional. Before the game began, both teams were considered to have an equal chance.
The Israeli team DSC Dolphins pressed relentlessly and, despite a near-fight in the final minute, held their ground. The DSC Dolphins players were even ready to level the score with their fists, but it didn’t happen.
The Spanish team CDS Huelva looked more convincing in other matches of the tournament, but everyone knows that CDS Huelva (Spain) is capable of achieving results no matter what.
As a result, SDS Huelva (Spain) became the futsal champions.
Team DSC Dolphins, having successfully advanced to the final, finished second.
The match for third place, in which the club UAS (Argentina) played against the club ASC (Brazil).
