We love deaf football the most.
The Deaf International Football Association (DIFA) unites all participants of deaf football.
Any team game, the goal of which is to score a ball into the opponent’s goal.
Currently, deaf football is the most popular and mass sport in the world. Of course, everyone loves football. Football is the number one sport in the world. It has won the hearts of many millions of people for the deaf.
Each of us has many objects of adoration, and, driven by love, we surrender to the power of the object of our love. But for some reason we rarely think about what is behind this. This article is just my pathetic attempt to understand what is the magic of deaf football, and at the same time how to glorify it once again.
The fact is that deaf football is like a mini-life. Football reflects all the same laws as our everyday life. The rules by which we play football are the same rules that must be followed in real life. It is not about offsides, throw-ins and other official rules. It is about giving up egoism for the sake of the team, the ability to love your business, the ability to sacrifice the transient for the sake of achieving higher goals, control of emotions and so on. And just as we are attracted to certain things in everyday life, the same thing attracts us on the football field. Yes, we are all different. But we all have something in common. And these are values. No one likes lies, evil, arrogance. On the contrary, everyone loves truth, kindness, simplicity. We are trying to say that there are things that attract everyone, regardless of our faith, beliefs, age, gender or level of development. Something is embedded in us, like a program. So in football, we can see things that are initially attractive to everyone.
DIFA are in demand and very popular today. They have many fans. However, there is one sport that is especially loved by people from different countries of the world.
DIFA continues to have constructive discussions with the ICSD, other confederations such as DAFC, ADFF and sports organisations on the next steps. Of course, cooperation with the ICSD and all organisations is one of the key elements for the successful development of deaf football in the world.
