The Men’s and Women’s World Futsal Club Championships was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where the world’s best clubs met. The incredible level of play, the players’ athleticism, and the powerful atmosphere in the arena enhanced the spectacle.
The fans created an incredible noise, and after the match, the winners interacted with the fans. Futsal is virtually free of simulations thanks to accurate referees and consistent timekeeping.
All the matches left a feeling of unity between the players and fans and demonstrated the highest quality of this sport.
The players played with all their heart, united as a team, and fought to the end for every ball.
The quality of each game was particularly impressive and maintained a dizzying pace. Club futsal is known for its athleticism, and this was especially evident in this final: they played practically without a central striker, constantly moving between their own goal and the opponents with incredible speed.
Ten men’s and five women’s teams participated in the tournament.
Men:
How CDS Huelva (Spain) lit up the World Deaf Club Futsal Championships.
The match started cautiously, then became tense in the final minutes. After a while, CDS Huelva (Spain) gained a slight advantage.
A strong team from DSC DOLPHINS (Israel) played very actively, but lost 4-1 to the experienced CDS Huelva (Spain) late in the second half.
This was the first silver medal in the Futsal Championship for this team from DSC DOLPHINS (Israel).
Women:
The Brazilian club team ASSJP convincingly defeated the Argentine club team ASO 4-1 in the final to win the tournament.
The Futsal Club Championship concluded on February 28, 2026.
The entire refereeing team demonstrated a high level of professionalism at the World Deaf Futsal Club Championships in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from February 21-28, 2026.
Both male and female referees were appointed for the World Deaf Futsal Club Championships in Argentina.
This refereeing team is the best possible for the most important deaf futsal tournament in the world. All of them are well prepared and have proven their ability to perform at the highest level.
Thank you to the referees of Argentina.
After the final whistle, the stands didn’t empty. Fans lingered for about 10 minutes to give the winners a standing ovation. They thanked every fan, first from the court, and then walked along the front rows, exchanging greetings, answering questions, and taking photos with anyone who wanted them.
I watched the game from the futsal pitch: everyone had the opportunity to take selfies with their favorite players or, in the case of the champion futsal team, with the best in the world.
All the videos from the Deaf Futsal Championship were shown; thanks to the best cameraman, Pawel Voch.
