The current DIFA World Rankings for men’s national teams in deaf football were introduced in December 2023. These rankings, known as the DIFA Men’s World Rankings, incorporated three significant changes to the points calculation system. The updated system is based on the ELO rating model, which considers the importance of the tournament and, specifically, each match. Traditionally, DIFA publishes the rankings multiple times over a four-year cycle.
