The 2nd International African Football Congress was held on 24-25 January 2025 in Benine, (African). This congress is a permanent platform for the development of business and humanitarian football cooperation, public diplomacy, working dialogue between the business communities of the African continent and the strengthening of close cooperation between African countries in the field of deaf football.
The main topics of the DAFC congress are: “Priorities of African business and football cooperation at present”, Cooperation in the humanitarian sphere as a driving force for the development of intra-African relations, approval of the DAFC charter, elections of the president and members of the DAFC executive committee.
The organizer of the congress is the Organizing Committee, which includes representatives of the Federation of Sports and Football for the Deaf, the business community of African countries and business circles. The event is actively supported by delegates from African countries.
Following the results of the elections, in which as many as 13 countries took part, a new composition of the members of the executive committee and the president of DAFC were determined.
Ibrahim Ajagbe from Gabon became the president of DAFC.

The Deaf African Football Confederation (DAFC) is the national football governing body and a member of DIFA. DAFC was established in 2015 and is the second football association in the African region to be named Deaf African Football Confederation . The current Deaf Football Federation allows for the establishment of a national team. DAFC was accepted into DIFA in 2015 and has since competed in the African Championship and the Deaf World Cup.
